Activity Participation Agreement and Waiver

By engaging in activities at Running Grid, the first of its kind interactive gaming facility in New Zealand, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Activity Risks: I understand that participating in Running Grid involves physical activities in game rooms, including but not limited to running, jumping, and navigating around potential tripping hazards. Activities may involve physical contact with other participants, which could result in injury. I acknowledge the inherent risks and potential for accidents, some of which may arise from the negligence of Running Grid's staff or others, natural forces, or my own actions. I accept all responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur, regardless of cause.

2. Liability Release: On behalf of myself, my heirs, and personal representatives, I voluntarily release, indemnify, and hold harmless Running Grid, its affiliates, and their respective directors, employees, and agents (the "Released Parties") from any claims or liabilities for personal injury, property damage, or other harm that might arise from my participation in activities at Running Grid, including those resulting from the negligence of the Released Parties.

3. Food and drinks: I agree not to bring my own food and drinks to the gaming venue. I understand that maintaining a clean and tidy environment is essential for everyone’s enjoyment at Running Grid.

4. Conduct: I understand that inappropriate behaviour, including intoxication from drugs or alcohol, may lead to my removal from the premises and classification as a no-show without refund or compensation.

5. Dress Code: I commit to wearing appropriate attire for physical activities, including comfortable, movement-friendly clothing and closed, flat shoes with grip (running shoes recommended). I understand that failure to comply with the dress code, such as wearing heels, open-toed shoes, or sandals, will prevent my participation in activities.

6. Personal Belongings: The Released Parties are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought into Running Grid premises.

7. Media Consent: I permit Running Grid to use photographs or video recordings of my participation for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes without compensation.

8. Accuracy of Information: I affirm that the contact information provided is accurate and true.

9. Data Use Consent: I allow Running Grid to retain my contact information for operational purposes. I understand that this consent can be withdrawn at any time upon my request.
